50,000 New Yorkers to stop receiving unemployment insurance benefits this week


According to the New York Times over 50,000 New Yorkers are going to stop receiving their unemployment insurance benefits this week.

After receiving several extensions, these people have been receiving unemployment benefits for 11 months of up to a maximum payout of $405/week.

This is so scary.. I am a woman and unemployed.. was laid off my full time job and now have been trying to freelance and do part time gigs to make money..
