Unemployed Amish Can Now Collect the Unemployment

The LA Times has an interesting story about Amish Communities throughout Indiana are now allowing their people to collect unemployment insurance.
Typically, the Amish don't allow collecting government benefits. However, with the huge economic downturn, and many families in Indiana being let go from manufacturing jobs throughout the Hoosier state, Amish leaders have OK'd the collection of unemployment insurance because the workers have paid into the system.
