According to WFIN Ohio's unemployment rate reached 8.8% in January, 2009. That is up 1.4 percentage points from December's 7.4%.It also reached a 20 year high for Ohio's Unemployment Rate and was significantly higher than last year's 5.7% unemployment rate.
